Learning tail slide in 2 days🏄‍♂️

I have been surfing the Trifecta city wave in Singapore these last two days. Mastering the tail slide is a difficult one, but river wave technology gives me more repetition in such a short time period.

I’m gonna start using river waves way more to fast track my surfing progress💪

Board suddenly felt slippery😅

I was surfing the Citywave at Trifecta in Singapore when the board all of the sudden just slipped on the wave. I actually jumped back on it and slipped one more time before I realized the fin was gone😂

River surfing hack🏄‍♂️

I have started incorporating River surfing into my training routine. I think it’s a really good hack to speed up your progress. You get way more time on the face to practice your manoeuvres💪

As a surfer who can only surf a limited amount because of a bad back. River surfing gives me an more repetition. I can’t surf 4 hours everyday unfortunately…🫠

Surfing with a GoPro📸

Difficult? Yes! Worth it? 100%. Maybe it’s something about being a surfer, but looking at POV clips is always satisfying😅

Obviously beach cam is way better for analysing waves and style, but GoPro clips also have a value. Its a different perspective and going forward I am gonna play more with it👊

I did a survey on my story and 80% percent thought it was cool but looked stupid, or solely cool. Only 20 percent said it looked bad. So let’s see what I can capture going forward.

Follow to see my next week of progress! I’m going to Singapore to work on Riverwave surfing. Let’s see if the skills transfer!
