We are Bali based, local citizen team with international background
(main photographer: eurasian Indo/Croatian) and history of working with
both well known magazines (Cosmoplitan, Elle Decor), brands like Nestle, and
certainly above all the very BEST destination wedding planners in Bali
during our existence.

I always like to say,
we are probably not the best at any particular technical aspect
that you can find…
but what we create and offer to our clients is
both UNIQUE and INTELLIGENT ARTISTIC VISION
and overall EXPERIENCE.

I’d say that our main GIFT or asset is simple (yet RARE) ability
to CONNECT to who YOU REALLY ARE.

My great super duper photo/video team and I are honestly quite low profile, and not really prone to self-promotion.

But when a top manager who works for Adobe jumps into your arms and says that she got the best photographers and videographers in Bali, then I guess that means something?

This was a VIP wedding, of American Jews, filmed ten years ago.

Many thanks to my team of local friends and geniuses who always followed me faithfully and further enhanced the portfolio for the client and experiences like this.

And Many Thanks to agents who then supported us.

WEIRD…is BEAUTIFUL 📸

We at EYE CON Photography BALI never claimed to be ‘the best’, even less ‘the only’ photographers on Bali.

Then what is SPECIAL about us?

Every weekend warrior is taking cheesy, standard shots, and doing it WELL, with the help of
any average SONY camera? GREAT!

Ring shots…first kiss…toast…posing with parents…
all that romantic, standard stuff, copy paste from Pinterest and other social media.

Disclaimer: It is YOUR MONEY, YOUR WEDDING DAY, and every photographer
is expected to deliver these ‘must have shots’!

We also DO THAT. 👍🏻

However, at EYECON, we have extra EYES and EARS for the WEIRD,
UNSTAGED.
NON STANDARD.
AUTHENTIC.
UNTAMED.
And GENUINE.
👆🏼

Namely, INTERESTING.

Those ORIGINAL MOMENTS.
And parts of WHO YOU REALLY ARE, as an INDIVIDUAL (or COUPLE).
When not ACTING.
Or wearing a MASK.

and find it generally STAGED, DRY and even BORING.

We dislike the ‘(fast food, factory) mass tourism’ and ‘consumerism’,
simply because we are kind of allergic to

-protocols
-‘crowd mentality’ (another Bali Swing counter, OMG!!)
-prostitution of own culture, personality and nature (for money)
-media bu****it
-shallowness
-fakeness
-social distancing (when people who ate from the same pilate like you yesterday
pretend they don’t know you today?)

What we LOVE and BELIVE IN are
PEOPLE, TRUE EMOTIONS, RELATIONSHIPS,
INTIMACY, human BONDING and MAKING FRIENDS.

AUTHENTICITY.
HUMAN IMPERFECTIONS.
SINCERITY.

Laughter.
Or tears.
Wilderness.
Or Madness.
Anything that is still GENUINE.
And has a SOUL.

RETELS are BACK IN BALI!!

COMPARE before and after…
7 years span!

I’ve been shooting this family (Grandma, Grandpa, kids, grandkids, BOYS and GIRLS every time they come to Bali, since 2016…

It’s AUSSIE family with CROATIAN roots).
Grandma and Grandpa, Mary and Darko are from Croatia. 🇭🇷

I was introduced to them by Thianna, a great make up artist and amazingly talented painter from New Zealand. 🇳🇿

We had a very first session back then at Hotel Inter Continental Jimbaran…
then Grand Hyatt Nusa Dua…a private villa in Canggu…
last time I saw them before this was in 2019, before the pandemic.

And now they are finally back again!

It was interesting to see how kids change and grow…
while still keeping their core character pretty same.
