To perform non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections on marine vessel hulls and structures to ensure structural integrity, safety, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

SECTION II: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct NDT inspections on ship hulls, offshore structures, and marine components using approved procedures & techniques.
• Perform tests such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Dye Penetrant Testing (PT), and Visual Testing (VT).
• Interpret and evaluate test results to identify defects, corrosion, or structural weaknesses.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation of findings.
• Ensure all inspections comply with classification society standards
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and project teams to plan inspection activities.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of NDT equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures, especially when working in confined spaces or offshore environments.
• Support hull surveys during dry docking or in-water inspections.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in NDT inspections within marine or offshore industries
• Experience in ship hull inspection, offshore platforms, or shipyard environments.
• Familiarity with classification society inspection requirements
• Experience working in confined spaces, at heights, or underwater (preferred).
Technical Competencies required for the role

Requirement for Welder : To perform welding, fabrication, and repair activities on offshore and onshore structures using rope access techniques, ensuring all work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and IRATA procedures. • Perform welding activities (SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, or MIG) using rope access techniques.
• Execute structural repairs, fabrication, and maintenance at height or in difficult-to-access areas.
• Set up anchors, lifelines, and work positioning systems to ensure safe and stable welding conditions.
• Interpret welding drawings, WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications), and technical instructions.
• Ensure proper surface preparation before welding (cleaning, grinding, fit-up).
• Conduct pre-use inspection of welding tools, machines, and rope access equipment.
• Prepare joints including cleaning, grinding, beveling, and alignment before welding.
• Follow approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and ensure work meets project and client requirements.
