I often wonder what enables someone to endure such a long season of suffering. Perhaps it isn't extraordinary courage, but a simple kind of love. A hope, a prayer, or the memory of home that reminds them their struggle still has a purpose. More often than not, it's not strength that keeps a person going, but the reason that continually calls them home.
