Pasangan selebritas Korea Selatan, Jung Kyung-ho dan Choi Sooyoung, dikabarkan mengakhiri hubungan mereka setelah 14 tahun berpacaran secara terbuka.

Berdasarkan laporan MyDaily pada 9 Juni, keduanya belakangan semakin jarang bertemu karena jadwal yang padat. Seiring waktu, hubungan mereka merenggang dan berakhir secara alami.

Seorang sumber yang mengenal keduanya mengatakan bahwa Jung Kyung-ho yang terus disibukkan dengan proyek akting, serta Choi Sooyoung yang aktif berkarier di Korea dan Jepang, kesulitan meluangkan waktu bersama sehingga akhirnya memutuskan mengakhiri hubungan asmara mereka.

Jung Kyung-ho dan Choi Sooyoung selama ini dikenal sebagai salah satu pasangan paling langgeng di industri hiburan Korea. Keduanya merupakan alumni jurusan Teater dan Film di Chung-Ang University dan pertama kali bertemu di gereja. Hubungan mereka berkembang menjadi asmara pada September 2012 dan bertahan selama 14 tahun.

Pihak agensi Sooyoung, Saram Entertainment⁠, juga telah mengonfirmasi kabar tersebut dengan menyatakan bahwa keduanya memang telah berpisah.

Jung Kyung-ho, yang debut sebagai aktor pada 2003, dikenal lewat sejumlah drama seperti I’m Sorry, I Love You, Time Between Dog and Wolf, Prison Playbook, Life on Mars, dan Crash Course in Romance. Saat ini ia tengah menjalani syuting drama komedi romantis Fascinating Romance.

Sementara itu, Sooyoung yang debut sebagai anggota Girls’ Generation pada 2007 juga aktif sebagai aktris. Ia telah membintangi drama seperti My Spring Days, Squad 38, Run On, dan Not Others. Saat ini ia bersiap menjalani syuting drama akhir pekan terbaru KBS2 yang dijadwalkan tayang tahun depan.
