First time in Plataran Menteng though I have been to other Plataran properties. Heard how beautiful it's heritage structure is and it didn't disappoint.

Every corner (and even the restroom🤭) is thoughtfully designed. Elegant and charming but not snobbish. Grand but still inviting.

And the mango tree outlived its owner. That's a conversation piece.

Independence Day, Pilipinas!

124 years ago, the Philippine flag sewn by the late Doña Marcela Marino de Agoncillo, together with Lorenza Agoncillo and Delfina Herbisa de Natividad, was formally unfurled by President Aguinaldo during the Proclamation of Philippine Independence.
