Jeffrey Sutorius is preparing for a new chapter in his career after securing the legal right to perform under the Dash Berlin name once again.

The development follows years of legal disputes and signals the potential return of one of trance music’s most recognizable projects.

Jeffrey Sutorius left Dash Berlin in 2018. Soon after, he entered a legal battle over the rights to the name.

The dispute was fought against former members Sebastiaan Molijn and Eelke Kalberg.

For a short period in 2019, Sutorius regained the rights to the brand name. That victory did not last.

The legal situation later shifted, leading him to perform and release music under his own name from 2021 onward.

That chapter appears to have changed following a January 2026 ruling by the Court of Appeals in The Hague.

The decision granted Sutorius the legal right to use the Dash Berlin stage name again, allowing him to move forward under the brand he helped build.

Jeffrey Sutorius has regained the legal right to perform as Dash Berlin, paving the way for the iconic trance project’s long-awaited return.

Afrojack has expanded the reach of his Kapuchon alias with a debut release on Hot Creations, the influential label founded by Jamie Jones and Lee Foss.

The new single, Secret Moves, showcases the club-focused side of the Dutch producer through a relentless and groove-driven house sound.

Built around a heavy bassline and a hypnotic loop, the track relies on subtle changes in arrangement to maintain momentum.

Rather than constantly introducing new elements, the production gradually evolves, allowing the tension to build naturally.

A short vocal sample briefly appears before the drop, creating a moment of anticipation before the low-end energy takes control once again.

The Kapuchon project has existed for more than a decade.

Afrojack originally created the alias as an outlet for his deeper house and techno productions, separate from the festival-oriented sound associated with his main artist identity.

Although the project remained relatively quiet for several years, it returned to the spotlight in 2020 with the release of 10 Years Later and the launch of Kapuchon Records.

Since its revival, the alias has continued to gain recognition within the electronic music community.

Several unreleased Kapuchon productions have attracted support from major artists, including Swedish House Mafia, Anyma, Dom Dolla, and John Summit.

The release of “Secret Moves” arrives during a particularly busy period for the project.

Afrojack brings his Kapuchon alias to Hot Creations with “Secret Moves,” a driving house release that highlights the project's growing presence in club culture.

On the night of May 25, Jeff Mills arrived in Jakarta carrying more than the weight of his own legacy.

To generations of techno audiences around the world, The Wizard exists as one of electronic music’s defining architects.

A Detroit pioneer whose work helped transform techno from regional underground movement into global cultural language.

However, inside Zoo SCBD on Monday night, his presence resonated beyond mythology, beyond nostalgia, and beyond the familiar excitement that accompanies an international headliner.

For Jakarta’s underground community, this was something else entirely. It felt like vindication.

Presented by Raw Vision Collective and Le Cirque, the event commemorated the 30th anniversary of Mills’ seminal Liquid Room Mix, widely regarded as one of the most influential DJ mixes ever recorded.

Yet the significance of the evening extended far beyond the anniversary itself.

What unfolded was a reflection of the endurance required to preserve underground culture in a city where such movements have often existed precariously.

Jeff Mills celebrated the 30th anniversary of his Liquid Room Mix in Jakarta, delivering a landmark performance that united the city's underground techno community.

To mark the occasion, the brand will host an exclusive launch event in Jakarta that unfolds from day into night.

The gathering will bring together hospitality professionals, media representatives, industry figures, and nightlife tastemakers.

More than a product launch, the event is designed as a celebration of culture, connection, and nightlife experiences that reflect the brand’s identity.

Before its formal introduction, Solisca had already started building its presence across several of Jakarta’s prominent nightlife venues.

Solisca first introduced itself through a series of appearances across Jakarta’s nightlife scene.

The brand took part in events at Salty Fish SCBD, Rose Gunawarman, and Velvet Gunawarman.

Through these activations, Solisca connected with audiences through music, cultural moments, and curated nightlife experiences.

These appearances helped introduce Solisca to the city’s growing community of cocktail enthusiasts and nightlife consumers.
