Jeffrey Sutorius is preparing for a new chapter in his career after securing the legal right to perform under the Dash Berlin name once again.
The development follows years of legal disputes and signals the potential return of one of trance music’s most recognizable projects.
Jeffrey Sutorius left Dash Berlin in 2018. Soon after, he entered a legal battle over the rights to the name.
The dispute was fought against former members Sebastiaan Molijn and Eelke Kalberg.
For a short period in 2019, Sutorius regained the rights to the brand name. That victory did not last.
The legal situation later shifted, leading him to perform and release music under his own name from 2021 onward.
That chapter appears to have changed following a January 2026 ruling by the Court of Appeals in The Hague.
The decision granted Sutorius the legal right to use the Dash Berlin stage name again, allowing him to move forward under the brand he helped build.
Jeffrey Sutorius has regained the legal right to perform as Dash Berlin, paving the way for the iconic trance project’s long-awaited return.
