The Indonesian National Team put up a fierce battle but narrowly fell 3–2 to Saudi Arabia in a dramatic World Cup Qualifiers opener.

A match filled with *everything* — five goals, three VAR-awarded penalties (two for Indonesia!), and even a late red card for the hosts.

Despite the result, the **Garuda Squad** showed heart, passion, and relentless spirit till the final whistle.

Golden lift for Indonesia!

Indonesian lifter Rizki Juniansyah shone brightly at the 2025 IWF World Weightlifting Championships in Forde, Norway, early Tuesday morning (Jakarta time) (7/10/2025). Competing in the men’s 79 kg class, Rizki claimed two gold medals, in Clean & Jerk and Total Lift, and even set a new world record!

🏅 Clean & Jerk: 204 kg (World Record)
🏅 Total Lift: 361 kg (157 kg Sn**ch + 204 kg Clean & Jerk)
🥉 Sn**ch: 157 kg

A world record. Two golds. One bronze.
