Because the point is not just to escape where you are. It’s to expand who you are.

When you travel, something shifts. You notice how other people live, how they cook, how they laugh, how they love. You see kids playing with nothing but joy. You meet elders who have little but give everything. You taste food that was never on your menu, you hear stories you’d never read in a book. You realize your way is not the way - just a way.

That’s the education he meant. Travel doesn’t just take you to new places— it brings you back to yourself. It teaches humility, curiosity, and gratitude. It reminds you that life isn’t just about goals and to-do lists. It’s about being awake to the richness of the world.

Not everyone can afford a plane ticket but travel doesn’t have to mean far. Even a walk through a new neighborhood, a conversation with a stranger, or trying a dish from a different culture that’s travel too. That’s education too.
