Qiao Renliangās Birthday ā Cheng Qingsongās āSuspicious Tributesā Spark Speculation
The case of Yu Menglong has been compared by many to the mysterious death of Qiao Renliang nine years ago. October 15 marked what would have been Qiao Renliangās 38th birthday. That afternoon, film director Cheng Qingsong posted three consecutive tributes on Weibo:
āTo the forever young boy, Qiao Renliang,ā
āQiao Renliang, our ten years,ā
āThe last time I say goodbye to you ā farewell, Qiao Renliang.ā
A few hours later, Cheng also reposted a local state media report featuring a video of Qiaoās parents mourning their son. Because of the sensitive timing and the odd tone of his posts, the tributes have stirred speculation online.
Some netizens suspect that Cheng Qingsong knows the truth behind both Qiaoās and Yuās cases and may be under pressure from higher authorities, using vague messages to hint at the danger he is in. Others believe he might be implying that certain evidence is about to be erased, possibly connected to materials from the Beijing Terror Art Museum.
Rumors circulating online accuse that Qiao Renliang was brutally tortured and murdered. Some leaked photos allegedly show that Qiaoās body was missing both arms, and his collapsed abdomen appeared to have a heart-shaped frame propping up his clothes.
Several figures from the entertainment industry are allegedly involved in both Qiaoās and Yuās cases. Netizens who searched their social media accounts discovered disturbing words and images, including scenes of dismemberment and what appeared to be human specimens.
After Yu Menglongās death, users uncovered information suggesting that three art galleries in Beijing might be linked to the case. These galleries had reportedly hosted disturbing and perverse art exhibitions, displaying items such as leg bones, skulls, hands, feet, and even human skin samples.
