HB-IPR Swiss International Airlines Airbus A319-112 awaiting clearance to cross a taxiway to enter the terminal ramp to meet its allocated gate.

Pic taken from a taxiway as that’s where I was standing. After pushback of my jet I was asked to check something by the crew, cleared but couldn’t get to the other side without getting myself into danger. So I had to wait to either cross the taxiway or for a p/u. Since the marshal car wasn’t there yet I did what I had to do. A pocket click of the jet which then let me pass to the company p/u car.

Strange situation but safety and communication always is very important when on the ramp when having to perform under such conditions. So here’s a shoutout to the Swiss crew who immediately got the situation and smiled when seeing me taking a pocket click.

JA8909 JAL Japan Airlines Boeing 747-446 sitting on the ramp enchanted by some soft glowing wonderful evening light.

It was very rare to see this giant parked on the apron but the reason I can’t recall anymore.

I was quite surprised by that and couldn’t resist a pocket click of that beauty.

flylot Boeing 787-8, SP-LRH with the Polish Olympic Team Stickers is seen taxiing to RWY09R at Heathrow Airport operating in place of the normal Boeing 737 Max on the LO280 to Warsaw.
