We just found Europe’s best-kept mountain secret, and you need to see this before everyone else does 🏔️

Our FREE guide on 7 Top Things to do in Theth is in the first comment!👇🏻

Tucked away in the majestic Albanian Alps is the tiny village of Theth 🇦🇱. Honestly, it feels like we stepped straight into a fairytale🌲.

Picture this: snow-capped peaks circling a lush valley ⛰️, sheep wandering through the meadows 🐑, and the smell of fresh bread baking in cozy local kitchens 🥖

We spent our days eating real homemade cheese from the locals 🧀 and just staring up at the 130-year-old church bell tower ⛪. The mountains here are so massive they literally look like they’re touching the clouds! ☁️🦅

Even though it’s so wild and remote, with breathtaking waterfalls 💦, rivers, and freezing cold mountain springs 🧊, somehow it just felt like home to us ❤️

If you’re looking for untouched nature and a real escape from the crowds, this is it 🌿

We almost made the mistake of driving right past this small coastal village, and honestly? It would have been the biggest regret of our trip!🙈

Comment ‘Guide’ to get our FREE guide to 9 best things to do in Mosteiros 🇵🇹

When we finally rolled into Mosteiros, we couldn’t believe our eyes. It’s this wild spot where the rough ocean literally crashes right into the dark volcanic sand.

Everywhere you look, it’s just a crazy palette of colors. Picture bright blue window frames on classic white houses, massive black cliffs covered in vibrant green moss, and those iconic orange rooftops that just scream “Portugal.”

We spent hours just wandering the quiet streets and hanging out at the beach. Keep an eye on that deep-blue water while you’re there, because dolphins and whales love swimming right off the coast! 🐋

Oh, and if you go, you absolutely have to try the traditional lapas. They have this super unique, savory flavor that we’re still dreaming about.

Save this post so you don’t skip this spot on your next Azores trip, and send it to your travel buddy! ✈️

Thanks IG, my life will never be like before🫣😄

Do you have the same on your mind when you see a stunning view? I hope I’m not alone🙈

Madeira hits different 🫣😄 joking, it was about 30 min hiking up to the viewpoint…🙄 Plus diversions, flight cancellations, 2 days trying to get to to Madeira and strong wind gusts at the landing.. does it sound better?😄

In case you are wondering what the view should’ve been - it’s the most popular PR1 hike ⛰️

We honestly weren't expecting much when we first planned this trip, but Albania genuinely blew our minds!

Like, how does one country have snow-capped Alps, crystal-clear turquoise water, ancient ruins, AND natural hot springs? 🏔️🌊 How is this place still flying under the radar?!

We spent our days wandering through the tiny, cobblestone streets of Berat, climbing up to the old hilltop castle in Himare 🏰, and chilling at our new favorite beaches in Ksamil 🏖️. Oh, and hiking through the snowy Albanian Alps up in magical Theth? ❄️ Literally every single stop surprised us in the best way possible.

But honestly, the best part was the people. They are genuinely some of the warmest and most welcoming folks we’ve met anywhere in the Balkans 🤍. That alone makes the trip worth it.

Here’s the thing though – Albania is growing fast. 📈 We saw so many new hotels, cute restaurants, and cool tours popping up. So if you’ve been sleeping on this country, now is the absolute perfect time to go before the secret is totally out. 😉

Whether you’re into hiking 🥾, history, beach hopping 🌊, or just slow-traveling through charming little towns, there’s something here for every kind of traveler.

Did you know Europe has exactly ONE place where tea is grown? 🤯 And we just had a fresh cup of it right by the ocean.

Imagine feeling that salty Atlantic breeze while sitting on a cozy cafe terrace, biting into a warm, fragrant pastel de nata. Pair that with a cup of hot tea that was actually harvested right here – from the only tea plantations in all of Europe! ☕️🌿

That’s exactly how our mornings have been starting in sunny Ponta Delgada, the absolute heart of São Miguel island in the Azores. It's honestly magic. ✨

We’ve been spending our days just wandering the authentic cobblestone streets, checking out the local pineapple plantations (yes, pineapples! 🍍), and getting lost in the lush botanical gardens. Oh, and we even took a boat trip and spotted wild dolphins playing in the waves! 🐬

If you're looking for a place that completely wins you over with genuine hospitality and that perfect, unhurried ocean-town rhythm, you really need to add Ponta Delgada to your bucket list.

Everyone rushes to mainland Portugal, but we found a tropical paradise right in the middle of the Atlantic 👀 🌴✨

Which includes the best places to eat, sleep, and explore, based on our several trips to this stunning Azorean city! 🌊

Our favorite things to do in Ponta Delgada ⬇️

🍍Visit Plantação Ananases: Did you know pineapples are grown in the Azores? You can tour the greenhouses to see how they’re grown and grab a fresh pineapple lemonade after🍹

🌿Jardim Botânico António Borges: This 19th-century botanical garden feels like a literal jungle. Make sure to stop by Jardim Natural Food & Coffee right in the middle of the park for an amazing farm-fresh breakfast. We love eating there while the birds hop around our table! ☕️🕊️

🏛️Portas da Cidade: The iconic “city gates” are the true symbol of Ponta Delgada. They used to be the main entrance for travelers arriving at the port, and it’s a great spot to snap a quick photo 📸

🐋Whale & Dolphin Watching: The Atlantic is home to so many species of dolphins and whales. Taking a boat tour from the marina is an absolute must-do here, it’s such a surreal experience 🌊💙

🏰Forte de São Brás: A 16th-century fortress built to protect the island from pirates. You can wander the old corridors, climb the walls, and just take in the ocean views. ⚓️

🌅Miradouro do Ilhéu de Rosto de Cão: This is one of our favorite viewpoints. You can really feel the power of the ocean here, with waves crashing against the rocks and a massive island panorama. ✨

🌋Day trip to Sete Cidades: Just a short drive from the city, you’ll find this tiny village surrounded by green hills and lakes formed inside old volcano craters. It’s seriously breathtaking. 🌲💚

Everyone rushes to Amsterdam, but we found something even BETTER just a short ride away!

Okay, don't get us wrong—we absolutely love the city! The canals, the energy... it’s iconic. But honestly? The real magic happened when we ventured just 20 minutes outside the city limits.

We found spots that felt like they were straight out of a storybook. We’re talking about those picturesque villages you see on postcards, quiet streets without the crazy tourist crowds, and yes—those world-famous tulip fields are actually real (and even better in person) 🌷✨

There’s just something so special about stumbling upon a historic landmark or grabbing fresh seafood in a small town where life moves a little slower. That’s the side of the Netherlands we really fell in love with 🚲💙

We put together a list of our absolute favorites to help you plan.

💕 It may be unpopular opinion, BUT:
Love each other 24/7/365, not just once a year ✨

And don’t believe those perfect, polished IG pictures, especially on Valentine’s Day. Relationships may be sweet and full of love, then sometimes hard, and that’s absolutely normal! People are not perfect, you can’t match 100% each other. That’s all about balance, compromises and finding common touch points to create comfort for both of you❤️

Give us high five 🙌🏻 if you fell the same!

Eat, explore, relax, sleep, repeat – that’s been our Georgetown rhythm 🎨🌴

We stayed at G Hotel Kelawai, and it ended up being the perfect base for wandering around the city. Close to everything, easy to get back when your feet are done for the day, and honestly just a solid spot to crash between all the street art and hawker food missions.

If you’re planning to explore the authentic Georgetown and not just stay at your hotel, this one’s worth checking out!
