“Sampaikanlah dariku walau hanya satu ayat.” (HR. Bukhari)

26/06/2026

Surah Al-Ikhlas is a powerful declaration of pure monotheism. In just four verses, Allah reminds us that He is One, the Eternal Refuge, neither begets nor is born, and there is nothing comparable to Him.

This surah teaches the foundation of faith: to worship Allah alone, place our trust in Him alone, and recognize that every blessing, every answer, and every moment of hope comes from Him.

No matter how uncertain life may seem, Allah remains the One who is perfect, eternal, and sufficient for all of creation.

“By time. Indeed, mankind is in loss.”

Surah Al-'Asr reminds us that time is one of the greatest blessings Allah has given us. Every moment that passes will never return, and every second brings us closer to our final meeting with Him.

Allah tells us that all people are in loss except those who believe, perform righteous deeds, encourage one another to uphold the truth, and remain steadfast in patience.

True success is not measured by wealth, fame, or status, but by how we spend the time Allah has entrusted to us. Every day is an opportunity to strengthen our faith, do good, and prepare for the Hereafter.

These verses remind us that true success is not measured by wealth or status, but by faith, sincerity, and obedience to Allah. May we be among those who follow His guidance and remain steadfast upon the truth.

In the opening verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, Allah describes three types of people: the believers, the disbelievers, and the hypocrites.

The believers are those who have faith in the unseen, establish prayer, give from what Allah has provided them, and remain certain of the Hereafter. They are the ones who are guided and truly successful.

These verses remind us that true success is not measured by wealth or status, but by faith, sincerity, and obedience to Allah. May we be among those who follow His guidance and remain steadfast upon the truth.

Surah Al-Kāfirūn (“The Disbelievers”) is the 109th chapter (sūrah) of the Qur'an.

Comprising six concise verses, it emphasizes the absolute distinction between Islamic monotheism and disbelief, rejecting any form of compromise in worship.

The chapter is frequently recited in daily prayers for its message of sincerity and steadfast faith.

The surah refers to the “Year of the Elephant” (c. 570 CE), the year of the Prophet Muhammad’s birth. According to Islamic tradition, Abraha, a ruler from Yemen, led an army—including war elephants—to destroy the Kaʿbah and redirect Arabian pilgrimage to his own cathedral in Sana’a. God thwarted his plan by sending flocks of birds (ṭayran abābīl) that pelted the army with stones of baked clay, destroying them completely.

Al-Qāri‘ah culminates with the weighing of deeds (al-mīzān). Those whose scales of good deeds are heavy are promised a life of satisfaction, whereas those whose deeds are light face Hāwiyah, “a bottomless pit” of blazing fire. The surah thus condenses the Qur’anic teaching on moral responsibility: every action has eternal consequence, and divine justice will prevail at the final reckoning.
