Houtskools is a webzine contains information about the music & youth culture was home base in Semarang. Packaging includes our own Web site that contains News, Articles,Reviews, Videography and also PDF Zine which release at the end of the month and can be downloaded for free. The meaning of “Houtskools” Himself is “Charcoal” (Javanese Language: areng) taken from the name behind the town of Semara

ng and the word is derived from the dutch language. because we were born in the city of Semarang that many people call it a little dutch netherland or country itself. Then the philosophy of “Charcoal” itself is intended, we are placing ourselves as a media and all those who have to support us (Readers, Resource Persons and Sponsorship) we described as the “Fire”. With hope we can make a mutualistic symbiotic relationship that will continue to exist and continue to grow, especially music and youth culture in Indonesia.
