Joaquin Panichelli was born in Cordoba, Argentina, and grew up playing for clubs like Racing, Belgrano, and Atalaya before joining River Plate in the 2020 season, where he finished his training by scoring 5 goals in 13 games for the B team. In January 2023, Panichelli moved to Europe to join Alavés, but his career was cut short by a serious cruciate ligament injury. The redemption for the bad moment that followed the cruciate ligament injury came during his loan spell at Mirandes last season, where he scored 21 goals in 44 appearances, a performance that earned him an immediate purchase by Strasbourg in the summer, who invested almost 17 million euros in him. The nickname 'El Córdobés' has been with him since he was a child, when during a retreat, his teammates would encourage him to dance the city's signature 'cuarteto', and although Panichelli is 1.90 meters tall, he doesn't shy away from being a mascot of the group. In short, he's Allegri's dream striker. However, don't think the Argentine is just a static '9': he can also attack from deep, moves a lot, and has also proven quite effective in front of goal, as evidenced by his scoring record. (9 goals in 11 games in France is no coincidence).
