Potluck Party is an event which is especially held for students from 2nd semester until 8th semester and lecturers of English Education Department. This event was held to appreciate their dedication to English Education Department. Potluck Party was held at Auditorium Undiksha. In this event, there were awarding to EED’s lecturers and EED’s students, entertaintment perfomances from EED’s lecturers and also from EED’s students. Next, there were special performance from 8th semester it was performance of parody fashion show with theme miss world by men from 8th semester. At the end, it was closing by sang EED Anthem and between it, all of the participant did Mannequin Challenge for about 1 until 2 minutes and continued singing EED Anthem.

EDC (English Debating Competition) is a debate competition for all Senior High Schools in Bali. This year, EDC was participated by 16 teams which each consists of three persons.
The purpose of this competition is to develop students' ability in English especially for speaking skill of those who are now in Senior High School. The theme of this year's EDC is "Turn the Old into the Gold, Go Debating!".
This competition was held in Theater Room Faculty of Language and Art Undiksha on March 15 - 16, 2017 and officially opened by Vice Dean 1 of Faculty of Language and Art Undiksha.
This competition was divided into four rounds, the first was pre-eliminary round which was also divided into three rounds, the second was quarter-final round, the third was final round and the fourth was grand-final round.
The pre-eliminary round was held in EED's classrooms on March 15, 2017, the quarter-final and final round were held in EED's classrooms on March 16, 2017 while the grand-final round was held in Theater Room of Faculty of Language and Art on March 16, 2017.
At the end, there are three winners of this year's EDC, they are
SMA K Harapan A as the first winner,
SMA 4 Denpasar A as the second winner,
SMA 4 Denpasar B as the third winner.
And the best speaker of this year's EDC is Ms. Thio Jesslyn Angelina Raksh*ta from SMA 4 Denpasar A.

Soundcoustic is a competition of Social Gathering for acoustic bands. The theme of this year's Soundcoustic is The Sound of Golden Age. The purpose of this event is to seek talents in music and to provide facilities for those who love music to compete in this competition. This event was held on March 14, 2017 and officially opened by Vice Dean 1. There are several teams who win this competition:
Groovy-Doo as the first winner,
Twenty Five Degree as the second winner,
Foursmacoustic as the third winner,
Shevilla as the Judges' most favorite team,
And Vanilla as the audiences' most favorite team.

Bakesale is an event of Social Gathering where all EED Students sell food (whose chriteria has been established). The theme of this year's Bakesale is Retro Diner. The purpose of this event is to develop EED Students' will in entrepreneurship and to tighten solidarity and cooperation among EED's Students beyond their levels of semester. In Bakesale, students (semester 2, 4 and 6) have to be able to colaborate in every stand to sell their menus for three days. But in Bakesale, customers don't pay using money, yet, they have to exchange their money into coupons in the committees stand and use the coupons to buy food they like. This year's Bakesale was held for three days, from March 13 to 15, 2017 at six until ten pm. At the end, there are the best selling classes and the most favorite stand, the best selling classes are 4A, 4B and 2D while the most favorite stand goes to James Steward stand.

GECo (Ganesha English Competition) is an English Competition for all Junior High Schools in Bali. This year, GECo was participated by 14 teams which each consists of three persons.
The purpose of this competition is to develop students' ability in English especially for those who are now in Junior High School. The theme of this year's GECo is "Remembering Golden Memories to Gain Stories".
This competition was held in Theater Room Faculty of Language and Art Undiksha on March, 14 2017 and officially opened by Vice Dean 1 of Faculty of Language and Art Undiksha.
This competition was divided into three rounds, the first was pre-eliminary round, the second was semi-final round and the third was final round.
In the pre-eliminary round, participants were performing mini drama. The mini drama had five stories, thus the participant had to choose one of the five stories from lottery and perform it in front of the judges and the audiences. The five stories were The Boy Who Cried Wolf, The Hawk and the Hen, The Hungry Iron and the Foolish Stag, The Monkeys and the Men Story, and The Ugly Duckling.
The semi-final round was held in EED's classrooms and in open stage of Faculty of Language and Art Undiksha. In this round, all participants that has passed the previous round got tasks about listening, speaking, reading, writing, english vocabulary and english grammar.
The final round was held in Theater Room Faculty of Language and Art in the form.of quiz. This quiz was divided into three rounds: the first, the second and the third round. At the end, there are three winners of this year's GECo, they are
SMPN 1 Tabanan as the first winner,
SMPN 2 Amlapura as the second winner,
SMPN 1 Negara as the third winner.

The official opening ceremony of Social Gathering 2017 English Education Department followed by Sport Day with theme "Retro is Real" was held at "Lapangan Kampus Tengah Undiksha". The first opening was a special vespa parade from 8th semester. Head of committee, Nyoman Tri Jaya Suparyanta, gave a speech to start this opening ceremony and continued by Head of English Education Department, Dr. Dewa Putu Ramendra,S.Pd.,M.Pd., that opened Social Gathering 2017 and Sport Day officially. After the official opening ceremony, this event was continued with Gomifamire movements, then continued with sport games: "Bakiak","Balon Dangdut", and "Tarik Tambang", and the end was color party at "Lapangan FMipa" . The participants were all of "Civitas Akademika" in English Education Department. Keep doing the best!

EED Golden Reunion in a series of Social Gathering 2017 ran successfully and made a satisfying result. This event was divided into two sessions: the morning session and afternoon session. The morning session was sharing session which was followed by EED's students and some alumni. It was started at 10:00 until 12:00 p.m. in EED's Classroom. Meanwhile, the afternoon event started at 15:00 pm at wantilan Kampus Bawah Undiksha. It was attended by some alumni of English Education Department. The event began with opening speech from Prof. Dr. Putu Kerti Nitiasih, M.A., The Dean of Faculty of Language and Art. Then, it's continued by some special agendas, that were a submission of the charter for the speakers of sharing session, the election of the head of EED's alumni, and also some special performance of Empat Detik Sebelum Tidur Band and EED's students. There was also a photo session between the alumni which are provided by the committee. In the middle of the event, the alumni enjoyed the food using consumption coupon,such as meatballs, sate, and 'blayag' which brought by the sellers directly to campus. This year, It is a new breakthrough of Social Gathering 2017 conducting EED Golden Reunion to celebrate EED's Anniversary 50th. The Alumni felt enjoyed every agendas in this event and hoped that the sense of EED's togetherness can be maintained.

On Saturday, March 11, 2017, was held Social Charity at SD 5 Ringdikit, Seririt, Buleleng as the series of Social Gathering 2017 English Education Department Undiksha. It was focused on sharing knowledge about english, games, and distribution of donations of stationary, textbooks, notebooks, shoes, and bags to the students of SD 5 Ringdikit. The donations was gotten from donation of students and lectures of English Education Department, SD LAB UNDIKSHA, SD N 3 Banjar Jawa, North Bali Bilingual School, and result of "Mengamen". This year, Social Charity's theme is "Golden Heart, Golden Action" in the hope of growing social awareness among students of English Education Department to share it to others.

There was held Poetry Reading Contest with theme "Rock Your Voice into Poem" at Ruang Teater Kampus Bawah Undiksha. This event is one of series event in Social Gathering 2017 English Education Department that has purpose to grow children's adoration to English through poetry and also improve the literacy of children from early age. It was officialy opened by The Dean of Faculty of Language and Art Undiksha. This event was joined by elementary school students all around in Bali. The participants were 72 students and divided into two category, that were A and B category. It began with 2 session, that were semifinal and final round. At the end, the winner of Poetry Reading Contest 2017 was I Gusti Ngurah Agung Dipta from SDN 4 Kampung Baru for A Category and Aline Krishna Pande from SD Tri Amerta for B category.

This event was held at Teather Room of Faculty of Language and Art and was witnessed by Head of english education department, secretary of english education department and the coordinators of class in english education department.

This event aims to deliberate on the guides in the organization and the activity programs of english education department.

Students' association of english education department visited Songan village, Kintamani, Bangli regency in order to give some donation for victims of the lanslide which took place in Songan. The donation was collected by plunging down to the streets and asking for donation from local people in Singaraja.
This social activity held by Students' Association of English Education Department is supported bt The Resistance.
