One Box of Crayons Taught an Entire Classroom a Lesson 🌈
In a warm and colorful classroom, children were busy drawing their favorite pictures.
One little girl quietly reached toward a shared box of crayons, hoping to borrow just one color.
Before she could take it, a wealthy mother quickly pulled the entire box away.
She looked at the girl and said,
“Hands off. Bring your own if you want to draw.”
The child immediately backed away.
She stared at her unfinished picture: a small house underneath a completely gray sky.
She put the single crayon back and tried hard not to cry.
Nearby, the wealthy mother kept all the crayons beside her own daughter.
Then her daughter noticed the little girl's unfinished drawing.
She picked up the box.
Walked over.
Sat beside her.
And spread every color across the table.
“We'll finish it together.”
Slowly, the gray sky disappeared.
Red.
Orange.
Yellow.
Green.
Blue.
Purple.
A beautiful rainbow filled the page.
The two girls smiled at each other as they finished the drawing together.
Then the little girl looked at the picture and said quietly,
“Colors were never meant to belong to one person.”
This simple emotional story carries a powerful lesson about kindness, sharing, friendship, and inclusion.
A child should never need to prove that they deserve a little color.
Sometimes one small act of sharing can completely change another person's day.
Because the world becomes brighter when we stop asking who owns the colors and start asking who needs them. 🌈❤️
