Star Lars drops festival ready remix of & “Come Make You Move” - bringing Indonesian slang and Jamaican patois to the world of
Dubstep and Electronic Music. 

For Immediate Release - October 6. 2023“Come Make You Move” featuring Masia One and Mas Anies, gets remixed by Bali based, Dutch producer Star Lars, bringing this single to the party! Star Lars approached this remix with big room energy in mind, while still maintaining the original song’s tribal undertones. As Mas Anies’ opens the song with Javanese chanting, the remix builds with a dubstep rhythm, before the initial drop. Masia One follows up with her signature ragga-hiphop flow, and Lars punctuates her words with
percussive stabs that give the remix an anthemic feeling. 



The dynamics of the production brings the listener through both melodic passages and aggressive electronic sections, with sometimes contrasting mood - organic versus industrial, pretty versus chaotic and meditative versus energetic. The song ultimately reaches a pregnant pause as Masia sings the melodic line “Whoa all my people light up”. This lead up is finally resolved with a monumental drop with multiple sonic attacks and layered bass frequencies best heard in festival-sized speakers. The Come Make You Move Star Lars Remix, invites the listener to travel on a sonic journey of highs and lows, taking a single that embodies a tribal spirit, to the monumental stages of global music festivals. This cultural collaboration embodies the best of all worlds and is ready to make you move.
Star Lars will debut his remix of “Come Make You Move” live in Amsterdam October 10. 2023 at the ADE Festival to an audience of electronic music fans and festival goers.
