Missing Bali and our scooter adventures 🥹🫶🏽

On this day we woke up at 4am to catch the sunrise and drive to the southernmost point of the island to Pandawa Beach

As you drive along the beach road you start to see impressive cliffs then you turn a corner and suddenly see lines of cars people standing in the street and MASSIVE cliff walls

Super interesting to see just be prepared to be surrounded by literally hundreds of people taking pictures down the street and busses blasting horns that play full songs that echo down the street 😂

We waited a few minutes for each shot we took because people and cars kept passing and I also edited people out of these photos HAHA 🩷 still cute though

📍Girona Spain a hidden gem we KNOW you’ve never heard of

Girona dates back to medieval times we’re talking earlier than 200BC!!

It was once known as Gerunda when it was ruled by the Romans in ancient Catalonia

The Romans then built a wall surrounding the entire city to protect it from any intruders and we had the unique experience of walking on those same exact walls since they have been so well preserved

It was inhabited by the goths in the 6th century and later conquered by the moors in 715 and became Girona

It was so crazy for us to think about the fact that the streets we were walking in dated further back then Modern America as we know it!

We reflected on how our country is just a young baby compared to the history that exists in Girona Spain as we walked along the walls and looked down on the historic city

Fun fact Game of thrones had a scene filmed at the Girona Cathedral 👀
