♡ ❤️ Baris Cempaga ♡❤️
Among the Balinese Hindus, the descent of the Gods of Khayangan to earth at the time of the temple ceremony is always greeted with gratitude, reverence, and joy. One common way to welcome the presence of the Gods is by performing some dances. Rejang and Baris are common dance ceremonies mostly performed in a series of religious traditions.

Hindu people in Bali are inseparable from various rituals that have become traditions. They are celebrated since in the womb, life, until death. One of the rituals of Hindus in Bali is otonan which is a birthday celebration according to Balinese Hinduism celebrated every 210 days (6 months) and is determined using the Balinese calendar system.

Otonan comes from Old Javanese manuscripts, namely the word "wetu" or "metu" which means to come out, be born or incarnate. From the word "wetu" to "weton" and then changed to "oton" or "otonan".

Mesangih - Metatah💐❤

Balinese people believe to control of desire is illustrated in the Mesangih or Metatah; a tooth-filling rite, which take place during adolescence; a time when sexual desire has reached its peak. The teeth symbolize the animal, or the incontrolled side of humans and demonds always have big canine teeth. By filling them, six enemies will be eliminated; namely, lust, greed, anger, intoxication, confision and jealousy.
