PART 6️⃣ — Costa Rica ➝ Panama ➝ Bocas del Toro 🌴✨

Waking up at Skully’s House felt unreal — ocean breeze, breakfast on the water, and total calm…
before one of the WILDEST days of the trip 🔥

We jumped on ATVs and rode through:
✔️ Jungle trails
✔️ Wide-open Caribbean beaches
✔️ Hidden spots most travelers will never see

Yes… including riding through Pablo Escobar’s former property 😮

Huge shoutout to — this is the kind of experience you only get with a local who truly knows the Caribbean side. Secret lagoons, quiet coves, off-the-map gems… all of it.

This ended up being one of the biggest highlights of our entire adventure 💛

PART 5: Costa Rica ➝ Panama ➝ Bocas del Toro 🌴✨

Our final stop on the Bocas adventure was Skully’s House Bocas — and YES, we rolled in just in time for their annual Chili Festival 🌶️🔥
Talk about perfect timing.

This place instantly felt like home:
✔️ Spacious rooms
✔️ Super comfy beds
✔️ Right on the water
✔️ And the vibe? Think tropical Cheers — locals rolling in, music flowing, everyone knows everyone 🍻🌺

Breakfast was included (and actually delicious 👏), plus SO many food options right on-site. You can rent everything here — bikes, ATVs, electric bikes — you name it. We grabbed e-bikes our first night and rode straight into town to explore. 10/10 fun. 💛

✨ PART FOUR — Hospital Point ✨

Our next stop on the Costa Rica → Panama → Bocas del Toro route was Hospital Point — and it honestly felt like stepping into a secret postcard 🌊✨

Glass-calm water, insanely bright blues, and the perfect spot for exploring or snapping those dreamy tropical shots 📸💙

Afterward, we headed to Bibi’s Restaurant. The meal isn’t included in the tour, but the oceanfront views + live serenade? Completely worth it. And yes… I made the cutest little lunch friend 🥹💛

Crossed into Panama 🇵🇦 — here’s what actually happens NEXT ⬇️

Once you’re stamped out of Costa Rica and into Panama, the adventure isn’t over yet… it’s just getting good. 🚤✨

👉 From the border, it’s a short ride to the docks, where you’ll hop on a small canal boat for about 45 minutes through lush mangroves, calm waters, and wildlife sightings along the way.

And then… the water turns electric blue. 💙
Like “is this even real?” blue.

📍 First stop: STARFISH ISLAND ⭐🐚
You can spot starfish right from the boat — no snorkeling required.
⚠️ Friendly reminder: please don’t lift them out of the water. Look, enjoy, snap pics, and keep the ocean magic alive. 🌊✨

🚗🌎 Crossing from Costa Rica into Panama — Part 2

Yes, you really can drive to the border, park in a secure lot, walk across, clear immigration on both sides, and then hop a boat straight to Bocas del Toro 🛥️🌴

A few key things people always ask:
• Parking is safe and organized
• Immigration happens on both sides
• Don’t forget to pay the Panama tax after immigration
• From there, it’s boat → island life

We booked with and he handled everything — parking, immigration steps, where to pay, transportation, and getting us to the islands safely. Zero stress. Highly recommend.

Costa Rica → Panama → Back again.
This trip was PURE magic — from landing in Costa Rica, spending our first night in Puerto Viejo, crossing the border, and jumping straight into the island life of Bocas del Toro. 🌴✨

We booked our full Panama tour with , and had the adventure of a lifetime. I’ll break everything down in this series so you can plan it stress-free — transportation, border crossing, tours, what to expect, and all the little things I wish someone told me first.
