Taking someone you care about to one of your favorite places on Earth for the first time is always a gamble.

Will they love it?
Will the culture shock be too much?
Will Bangkok completely overwhelm them?

I finally got to take Ann to Thailand for the first time, and her raw, honest reactions surprised both of us. From the heat and tuk tuks to Chinatown, street food, 7-11, Wat Arun, river views, and ICONSIAM… Bangkok gave her the full welcome.

This one is really special to me because seeing Thailand through her eyes reminded me why I fell in love with this country in the first place.

Here’s a little preview of this Sunday’s video!

I finally took Ann to Bangkok for her very first trip to Thailand, and let’s just say… she was NOT ready for the energy of this city! 🤯

From tuk tuk rides through Chinatown to dressing up in traditional Thai clothes at Wat Arun, our first 24 hours in Bangkok were a total whirlwind. I’ve been coming here for years, but seeing the city through Ann’s eyes made it feel brand new all over again.

I got to bring Ann to Thailand for the very first time, and Bangkok did what Bangkok does best…
It overwhelmed her immediately. 😂

The heat, tuk tuks, Chinatown, temples, street food, river views, ICONSIAM, mango sticky rice, and one very shocked Filipina trying to process it all.

But honestly, the best part wasn’t just watching Ann experience Bangkok for the first time…It was realizing that seeing Thailand through her eyes made it feel new for me again too.

This one is chaotic, beautiful, funny, delicious, and full of that Bangkok energy I love so much.

I saw this the other day and honestly… it made me laugh, feel inspired, and question why my back already hurts getting out of bed sometimes. 😂

Apparently 65 is still considered “young” now.

But honestly… after traveling so much, I kind of get it.

One of the coolest parts of traveling is realizing life doesn’t have an expiration date on adventure. I’ve met people in their 70s and 80s backpacking, learning to dive, hiking mountains, moving to new countries, and starting completely new chapters in life.

Meanwhile some people give up at 30 because their knee made a weird sound getting out of bed once. 😅

You don’t suddenly become “too old” to live.
Too old to explore.
Too old to laugh.
Too old to try something new.

If anything, life experience makes the adventure even better.

So wherever you are in life… maybe this is your reminder that there’s still a whole world out there waiting for you. 🌎✈️

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms out there — the ones who love endlessly, sacrifice quietly, support fiercely, and somehow hold everything together even when no one notices. The impact a mother can have on a life is something truly special. ❤️

And for me, today is about the woman who gave me my first sense of adventure, love, and home.

Looking back at photos like this makes me realize how lucky I’ve been to have someone in my corner through every stage of life — from this little guy in a green outfit thinking he was some kind of tiny superhero… to somehow ending up traveling the world for a living.

No matter where I go, a part of home always travels with me because of you.

Thank you for the love, sacrifices, patience, and all the moments that shaped me into who I am today. I know it wasn’t always easy.

This Sunday, I’m taking you to one of the most unforgettable places I’ve experienced in the Philippines… 🇵🇭

Moalboal has amazing turquoise water, canyon adventures, jungle waterfalls and sunsets that didn’t even look real And if that wasn't enough you can swimming beside massive sardine runs just off the coast and do some of the best scuba diving in the Philippenes! It was a nonstop adventure from start to finish.

And honestly? It might be one of the most underrated spots in the Philippines right now.
