Taking a new path and ending up in torrential rain, in very steep secluded areas..

Randomly finding a beach- which is still exciting even in the rain

Finding a grab (equivalent to uber) scooter guy at the top of a hill and him driving me back to a main road 😇

Doing a walk in appointment for a 90 minute massage to escape the rain...dripping wet

Floating out of the massage into sun filled streets and going back to one of my favourite restaurants so far...

Pinch me... this can't be real🩷

Because of the time difference, today was my birthday in Thailand. (It's Jan 8 so probably tomorrow still...)

I spent the morning at an elephant sanctuary feeding, giving a mud bath (picture me barefoot in a bathing suit stepping in god knows what muck with two hand fulls of MUD) and rubbing an elephant.... no I can't picture it either but it happened.

Here's some fun pictures of me being convinced to get closer to the elephant (pre-bath) you can see my hesitation, mini freak out / fear, then relaxing into it and saying F it you're here, why not hug it... turns out I liked it.

Such a special way to celebrate 🩷
