Poppy and I have become a bit codependent lately… we spend ALL day EVERY day together…and we needed a break from eachother..

So when the opportunity to drive across the country with a good friend came up, I jumped at it!

Poppy and I BOTH needed a vacation.

As you can see I am the furthest thing on Poppy’s mind!

I am enjoying a much needed change of scenery, exploring Montreal this week, that is after driving here from BC via the US. A small trip of roughly 4,500 km, 6 states, 3 provinces, a very quick drive by of my childhood home and onto Montreal.

This marks the 6th time I’ve driven across the country – 3 times via Canada, 3 times via the US. Apparently this is just something I do...

She made more friends in 4 days than I have in months... I think she's just fine without me!

Imposter syndrome isn't a stop sign. It's just fear trying to run the show.
The women I work with want to do all the things...and then imposter syndrome shows up and says you can't.

So we start small.
One uncomfortable thing.
We survive it.
We learn something.
Then we add one more thing.

Baby building blocks. Until one day you're doing the thing you once thought was impossible without even thinking about it.
That's growth.

I had this tattooed down my spine for a reason.

It's not just for the big life implosions. It's for all of it. The small stuff too.
Feel it as long as it needs.
Work through it.

Wandering with no where in particular to go...

Taking a new path and ending up in torrential rain, in very steep secluded areas..

Randomly finding a beach- which is still exciting even in the rain

Finding a grab (equivalent to uber) scooter guy at the top of a hill and him driving me back to a main road 😇

Doing a walk in appointment for a 90 minute massage to escape the rain...dripping wet

Floating out of the massage into sun filled streets and going back to one of my favourite restaurants so far...

Pinch me... this can't be real🩷
