The last day of an amazing week in Raja Ampat and a teary goodbye to the amazing dive resort 👋🏼😭

The amazing staff and beautiful resort made our time in Raja Ampat everything we dreamed about and more. And can you imagine a more beautiful way to say goodbye? First a gorgeous sunrise, a rainbow and then a dolphin farewell committee. Raja Ampat is truly a magical place.

This vlog marks the final of my Raja Ampat vlogs where I tried a new format with timestamps and no trending audio to take away from the realness. I’ve really enjoyed making them and enjoy the trip all over again and it seems like you have enjoyed watching them!

Except for vlog 4 - that one really flopped 😂 Seems like it didn’t really get pushed out… so if you missed that one, I’ve linked it in this vlog. You can also find all 4 previous vlogs on my page and in my reposts.

The fourth and final dive day on our dive trip to Raja Ampat offered a serious amount of fish. Don’t believe me? See for yourself 👆🏼

We woke up to the most beautiful sunny weather and that continued all day. And with calm conditions it turned out to be a perfect day for diving.

🦈 We joined the sharks and fishes at Cape Kri for our morning dive
🐬 We swam with the dolphins during our safety stop (this was a chance encounter and we all kept our distance and respected the animals as you can see from the video)
☕️ We visited a local island village for our official safety stop and had some snacks and coffee at the pier
🐠 Dive 2 was at Yenbuba just off the pier
🐟 After lunch and a break at the resort we decided to do our 3rd (and final dive in Raja Ampat 😭) at Cape Kri again and that was a great decision!
🌈 we got back, showered, changed, and enjoyed the view from our deck before going to a coral presentation and a sundowner
🐒 We had dinner and a spotted Cuscus decided to join us as well as the sharks
🎶 We celebrated a wonderful trip to Raja Ampat and a perfect stay at with a performance from the local kids

We might be done with scuba diving in Raja Ampat tomorrow but there’s still one more vlog left. With a very early morning and a surprise send off with some special guests. Hope to see you for the next vlog!

Wake up! The vlog of day 3 of our dive trip to Raja Ampat is here 🙋🏼‍♀️ And this is the longest one yet.

We’re still staying and diving with the wonderful and we started the day out with another rainy morning which means lots of rain-ASMR for you (but excuse the sound of my wet flip flops) 🩴💧

Because just like the two previous vlogs, there’s no trending audio here - only the sound of the rain, ocean, birds and people. And timestamps for you to follow along! ⏰

On day 3 we did 2 day dives instead of 3 to have time to visit the famous Piaynemo Viewpoint. So the day looked like this:
☔️ Rainy morning walk to the dive center
🚤 Dolphins saying hello on the boat
🦈 Dive 1: Melissa’s Garden
☕️ Surface interval on a remote island
🐙 Dive 2: Fam Wall
🐌 Night dive: Papua Explorers House Reef
