RCSI's Traveller and Roma Communities Access Scholarship aims to increase the participation of members from the Traveller and Roma Communities in RCSI's Undergraduate programmes:

Advanced Therapeutic Technologies (ATT)
Dentistry
Medicine
Physiotherapy
Pharmacy

The scholarship is open to applicants who are eligible for Higher Education Access Route (HEAR) and is an addition to the supports provided through the Government Free Fees Initiative and SUSI grant.

This evening in Galway University of Galway Access Centre will host an information evening for their Access Programmes for prospective students.

This event is aimed at school leavers and mature students who may not have previously had the opportunity to attend university, particularly those from low-income backgrounds, those living with long-term disabilities, or anyone who feels college may be out of reach.

Attendees will learn about our Access and Foundation Programmes, available supports, and hear from past students, with time for questions in a welcoming environment.

Traveller pride week is almost upon us. Throughout the country, local Traveller organisations and groups will be hosting Traveller pride week events. The events are a great way for those interested in learning more about Traveller culture, to come along and enjoy the celebration of Traveller culture. Traveller pride week launches on May 14th with the unveiling of two commemorative stamps by An Post.

The Traveller pride awards will take place on May 21st and for the fiest time the 2 hour ceremony will be live streamed. Please follow to view the stream. I will also be sharing the stream on Facebook.

This year we hope to bring our celebration to as many people as possible, so please do tune in between 1 - 3pm.
