The webinar will also focus on the role agricultural education plays in relation to Farm Succession so it promises to be a very worthwhile webinar for all the family. The options programme targets farmers, family members, farm workers and landowners exploring sustainable ways of generating additional income from the farm, farmland, or off-farm. The Options Programme is a roadmap to a range of enterprise opportunities to add value and deliver on economic, social, and environmental improvements for rural dwellers. Participants can be at pre –start-up, start-up, growth, or renewal of existing business. The Mayo Options Programme serves as part of a network of supports to assist and guide participant on their new venture and give them the confidence to make good decisions and take the next step on their diversification journey. The programme will help you identify and network with agencies, with mentoring supports, potential funding supports, marketing, and upskilling supports, who will guide you through the diversification process. Meeting the experienced leaders in Rural Tourism whether this is the local successful Agri – Food Tourism Business operator or the local, regional, or national Agencies or Bodies tasked with driving this sector forward.
