The Clean Coasts programme helps protect and care for Ireland's waterways, coastline, seas and marine life. Liane Costello, Clean Coasts Biodiversity Officer, talks about our vital connection to our coastal ecosystems and how the 'Clean Coasts Observers Initiative' encourages us all to engage in citizen science actions to care for our coasts.

'Think Before You Flush' and 'Think Before You Pour' are campaigns operated by An Tasice's Clean Coasts programme in partnership with Uisce Eireann and aim to promote positive changes in flushing behaviour and waste management practices. Campaign Officer Patrick Cross tells us why we all need to act more responsibly.
