A rogue pigeon mid-final.
With 6 minutes to go, it was bumper to bumper with Neil Cragg to the line! A fabulous display of driving by both, pushing for the win on to the final lap.

Lee crossed the line on the buzzer and was crowned the 2025 40+ European Champion! 👑🇪🇺

Earlier in the event, we faced a fuel setback that could’ve ended the weekend early... but the team came together fast! Our trackside distributor, EFRA, drivers, mechanics and friends. Everyone stepped up.

This one is special. Not only is it a nail biting cat and mouse race between two of the best loved pro racers in our sport, but it also hits you right in the feels in the end... It's one to watch.

Some small teething problems for the European 40+ champion fuel - no biggy. Well done Speedwurx!

ℹ️ Official Statement: EFRA Euro Over 40’s ℹ️

To our valued drivers, customers, and partners,

Following a challenging start to the EFRA European Over 40’s Championship this past Friday, we want to share an important update regarding the fuel testing procedures carried out at the event.

Despite successful technical preparation and full compliance in pre-event testing, certain batches of our EU 16 fuel were flagged during on-site checks as being marginally outside event parameters.

Here's what happened:
1 - All Speedwurx fuel for the event was tested both pre- and post-packaging using EFRA-approved NitroMax testers at 20°C, in line with Section (5.7) of the EFRA Rulebook.

2 - Each batch was quality-assured and issued with an internal QC ticket confirming full compliance with EFRA regulation (07-23).

3 - We worked closely with EFRA officials and resolved the matter on-site within hours. A clear solution was found and approved with full cooperation from all sides.

Although the variation was minimal, we fully support EFRA's procedures and are grateful for their swift, professional response. We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of transparency, quality, and sportsmanship.

We would like to thank:
- Our drivers and customers for their patience, support, and understanding.

- Our UK distributor, ERP Distribution , especially Dave Williams, alongside his trackside team, for their clear communication with us and rapid coordination with EFRA.

Qualifying in done here at the EFRA 40+ Masters. Lee Martin avoided the nasty conditions in Q4 and didn't run, the job done already. He is looking untouchable at the moment ging into the main later today. The big question is whether the rain holds off or not.

Play suspended at EFRA 40+ Masters after qualifying round 1. The top three heats were rain effected but that did not stop Lee Martin RC taking the first TQ on offer.

Yes, we are there are the EFRA 40+ Masters - busy day yesterday as eveyone, including myself, got used to the new track. A few photos taken as I concentrate on video, but unfortunately there is not enough internet available at the moment to upload. Lee Martin RC has set the pace in controlled practice with Graham Alsop and Jerome Sartel leading the chase.
