đź’ś Supporting Families of Seriously Ill Children đź’ś

A local fundraising initiative in Foxford is shining a light on the incredible work of Cliona’s Foundation, a national charity that has provided over €3.25 million in vital financial support to more than 1,600 families across Ireland since 2008.

On Saturday, 4th October 2025 (10am–2pm), a special Coffee Morning will take place at Red Shed, Green Road, Foxford (F26 PP40) to raise funds for Cliona’s Foundation. This is part of a wider challenge, where the organiser will later join a group walking the final 100km of the Camino Francés in Spain to further support the cause.

Cliona’s Foundation helps families cover the hidden costs that come with caring for a seriously ill child – from accommodation and transport to food, rent, and utility bills. In 2024 alone, the charity dispersed €540,000 to 216 families across Ireland.
