This weekend sees the Bere Island team heading west for Allihies to the Annual Michael Dwyer Festival with live music and loads of interviews and craic from 11am this Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, back on the ranch, with a promise of a summer still to come after all the rain, Donal and Nikki kick off the weekend from 8am this morning…

One of the few Saturdays of the year when we have split programming with all boats heading to the west to Inis Mór for the 2026 All Islands GAA, wishing our friends from the West Cork islands all the best for the day ahead. An early start for the BICR team on Thursday to prepare for the live broadcast which begins from 8:30 this morning on Bere Island Community Radio.

On West Cork FM, it’s business as usual from 8am.
