Some songs just hit different and this one from Joanne does exactly that. Straight from the heart, recorded live in our cosy little spot in during WA Studios Unplugged, a Wild Atlantic Studios production made with love (and serious sound) here on the west coast.

Joanne Geraghty vocals are unreal in this one. Raw, honest, and proper powerful. And we’re mad proud of our local crew too: Malschoons worked his magic on sound, Dan Lateral captures the vibe and emotion on camera, Steffen Ritter mixes whatever madness comes through the monitors, Lea Deborah Grimm keeps an eye on all the magic happening offstage and Diana Murtagh kept the vibes high as host.

Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of producing the second episode of WA Studios Unplugged – this time with the legend himself, Dennis McCalmont. He shared 15 of his own original songs with an international audience live on Amazon’s streaming platform Twitch. With Noukoneko hosting the evening, we also got some lovely insights into Dennis’s artistic journey.

WA Studios Unplugged was streamed across three channels at the same time – and folks absolutely loved it.
