Recently, I’ve had to adjust to a few changes in the Rhoda Cocoa kitchen I wanted to let you know about…
First of all, I’ve been dealing with a bad back for most of the year that at times has made it a struggle to keep up with production. (Oh, the joys of being a small food producer!)
To give my poor back some relief, I’ve stopped stocking several outlets so I can focus on supplying the lovely customers (like yourself) who buy directly from www.rhodacocoa.com.
Another change I’m adjusting to is a 5% increase in the global price of chocolate. In fact, this isn’t the first time the price of chocolate has increased since I started Rhoda Cocoa (nor will it be the last).
I’ve managed to keep the price of the bars in the online shop the same since launching, but it’s become obvious to me that I’m no longer able to offer free shipping for orders of 6 bars or more.
I wish I could continue the offer, but as I’m working on my own and trying to ease my schedule to look after my wellbeing, it’s just no longer financially (or physically) feasible.
This community is always so lovely and supportive, so I know you’ll understand why I’ve had to make this difficult decision.
