Following the tremendous sucess of the first two years of the Colin O’Mahony Golf Classic, which raised almost €35,000 for local charities, golfers are preparing once again to tee off. 🏌‍♀️⛳️

For the third year, Golf Club will host the event in honour of a very special local man, which takes place on Thursday 25th June.

Colin, who grew up in Bray before moving to Delgany, is remembered by family, friends and colleageus for his warm heart, quick wit, and deep care for his community.
Now loved ones of the late Colin O’Mahony have established this Golf Classic, to recognise the great care Colin received from Wicklow Hospice and Greystones Cancer Support before he passed on 30th March 2024.

Local businesses have been coming on board to support the event by generously sponsoring each tee and hole on the course.

Incredible raffle prizes have been donated abd tickets are available at Wicklow Hospice reception- prizes include an 18kt Gold Diamond Circle Pendant (Ryder Cup Commission) from MoMuse, VIP tickets to Riverdance (including meeting the dancers), an Avoca Beauty Hamper along with generous sponsorship and support from many local businesses including Bray Tile and Bathroom Centre, RiRa Beer Butler and Barry and Centra Eden Gate.

A great new initiative launched in Bray - well done - the first walk takes place this Sunday, May 17 at 2.30pm - if anyone wants to book the details are in the story!

Bray Tourism, in conjunction with Bray & District Chamber of Commerce have launched a series of walking tours around Bray for the enjoyment of visitors and locals alike. The walks will be operated by local Leaving Certificate student Jake O’Neill, who hopes to bring a fresh perspective to tourism ...
