Clonakilty Living is an exciting new 108-page magazine about the rich, diverse nature of our wonderful town and locale. Clonakilty Living will cover everything that makes living in Clonakilty the experience it is – the food, the fashion, the people, the community, the history and a whole lot more. Meet the Designer behind BELIEVE.

I’m Michelle and I’m the Creative Director of Believe & the owner of Michelle Mitton
Design Gallery, a design-led gift shop in the heart of Clonakilty Town Centre, Est.1999.
I moved to Ireland in 1998 from the UK where I studied Fashion Design at John Moores
University, Liverpool. After graduating I worked on set design for Brookside & Hollyoaks and
then costume design at The Liverpool Everyman Theatre and the English National Theatre.
This is my second year of running Believe at The Model Village in Clonakilty. The concept and
design for this event has been developed by myself and my daughter Alice. We’ve tried to
create a Nostalgic Christmas Experience that you can enjoy as a family, within the timeless
beauty of the Model Village.
This event is brought to life by every member of the Clonakilty Model Village Family from prop
design and making, painting, model makers, event marketing, management and front of house.
