EMTS Training Solutions was founded in 2015 as a PHECC Approved Training Institute, initially delivering responder-level education and training. Since then, we have continued to grow, later achieving approval to deliver instructor-level programmes.
Innovation has always been at the heart of what we do. EMTS Training Solutions became the first training institute in Ireland to develop and deliver fully asynchronous blended learning programmes for the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Assistant Tutor, and Tutor pathways.
By embracing modern educational technology and evidence-informed blended learning methodologies, we continue to invest in the future of emergency care education through the development of our own Digital Learning Content Ecosystem—designed to make learning more engaging, accessible, and effective for our students.
Our commitment extends beyond accredited programmes. We are currently developing a growing library of free educational courses that will be available through our Learning Management System (LMS). These courses are designed not only for pre-hospital practitioners, responders, and educators in Ireland, but also to support humanitarian initiatives around the world.
Current projects include Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Awareness, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Complex PTSD (CPTSD) Awareness, together with a brand-new programme currently in development: Secondary Strike Awareness for EMS Responders in Hostile Environments. Our aim is simple, to make high-quality, evidence-informed education available to those who need it most.
We are also currently progressing through a number of different regulatory approval processes for a number of additional blended learning programmes, and we look forward to sharing more updates as they become available.
