If you’re like us, always on the hunt for that perfect burger, we might have found just the spot!

Stack’d is situated in Douglas Village Shopping centre and for the last year, they have been serving up premium burgers, crafted with locally sourced ingredients, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection.

It’s a buzzy spot that also serve loaded fries (we jumped at the spicebag 🤤) and they even do an amazing breakfast roll.

You can eat at Stack’d or order through your delivery apps like Deliveroo! Either way, you need to be ordering the BBQ, probably their most popular burger - we were not disappointed!

Where should we try next on our search for the best burger in Cork?

Simon Zebo, professional latte art specialist and occasional rugby hobbyist, gives us his best spot in the city for a cup of that sweet, sweet nectar.

Coffee. It’s the most important meal of the day and we want to do where is doing it right in the city.

This hidden spot in East Cork needs to be your next getaway!

The Salty Dog is located right on the pier in Ballycotton and it’s clear to see why it’s such a hit with locals, day-trippers and tourists!

Stunning views of the lighthouse across the water is what you get outside but inside is where the really treat is - a beautiful restaurant, a cosy pub and a guesthouse upstairs are all waiting for you here.

We visited to see what’s on offer at and we immediately discovered why you need to visit too.

Pizza & pints. Name a better duo. We’ll wait. 🍕🍺

Look, some things in life just work. And Cork’s pizza scene paired with a cold pint? That’s one of them. Whether you’re after a NY style fold, a wood-fired classic or a craft brew to wash it all down, Cork’s got you covered.

Here’s where to go 👇

🍕 .ie 🍺 Bronx Pizza - Fold it. Eat it. Go back for another.

🍕 🍺 Rising Sons Brewery - Craft pints, wood-fired pizza and a big screen. Sorted.

🍕 🍺Tom Barry’s - The OG. Barrack Street’s been coming here for years.

🍕 🍺 Franciscan Well X Pompeii Pizza - Cork’s best brewery meets Cork’s best slice. Obviously.

🍕 🍺 Fionnbarra - Hidden gem energy. Seriously good pizza.

Save this for Friday. You already know what you’re doing this weekend. 🔖

We think that could be that one spot that defines the heart of the Cork family food scene.

They’ve been a staple on Emmet Place for as long as we can remember, serving up those classic family vibes right across from the Opera House. If you haven’t popped in lately, you’re missing out on a serious recent menu glow-up that is well worth a visit.

The team has just launched five brand-new dishes that are Garron Noone levels of deliciousness. We’re talking a show-stopping Tomahawk Steak built for sharing, the golden crunch of a Blooming Onion, and a perfectly flaky Parmesan-crusted Cod. If you’re looking for a bit of a twist, the Japanese Yaki Udon and those juicy, spiced Lamb Kebabs are already becoming fast favourites.

It’s that perfect mix of the Luigi’s comfort we know and love with some serious new culinary flair. If you’re thinking of a long-overdue family catch-up or a pre-theatre bite, the buzz in there is better than ever. It’s the same warm atmosphere we’ve always loved, just with a fresh, delicious reason to grab a table this week.

Tag a friend who owes you a dinner date and get back into Luigi Malone’s to try the new arrivals. Trust us, your tastebuds will thank you!

Cork, you’re gorgeous. And we’ll never stop saying it. 😍

From the cliffs of West Cork to a blanket on Bell’s Field at golden hour - this county just keeps showing off. And honestly? We’re not complaining.

Cork is warming up. Your bowl is ready. 🫐

Look, we’re not saying we’ve suddenly become health food people. But when the sun comes out and the evenings get longer, something shifts. The salads start looking good. The smoothie bowls start looking great. And Cork’s açaí scene? Honestly no excuse not to treat yourself.

Here’s where to get your fix 👇

🟤 Oakberry - Layered, rich and a little bit extra. In the best way
🍓 Joe’s & Bros - Fresh, fruity and the kind of bowl you photograph before you eat
🌿 No Sin - Three colours, three flavours - pick your mood at the Marina
🩷 Guji - Boutique coffee bar doing açaí quietly and brilliantly on Paul St
🏖️ Bean & Berry - A bowl with a sea view. Honestly, come on
🥝 Here’s Health Cafe - The Douglas legend. Generous portions, proper fruit, no messing

Save this for the next sunny day.

Brian Murray is the globe-trotting chef that brought to the Victorian Quarter back in 2019 after a fantastic voyage cooking on yachts all across the world.

Based in the old Thompsons bakery on MacCurtain street, Brian’s Michelin-Selected restaurant is where he crafts raw and refined seasonal plates, elevated by the intense heat of an asador wood-fired grill.

Being a native to Cork, we wanted to know a little more about where he eats, drinks and keeps busy after work!
