CORK IN THE ALL-IRELAND FINAL! 🔴⚪️

As the Rebels face Tipperary this weekend, there's no better time to get fired up by a true Cork legend and feel the Cork spirit!

Back in May, Sacred Heart Secondary School students Lilah and Jill sat down for an unmissable chat on the Flux Learning supported SHSS podcast with former dual player and Cork hurling captain, Seán Óg Ó hAilpín.

Despite starting hurling late at age 10, he became a celebrated Cork figure, winning his first All-Ireland medal in 1999 and achieving his "dream come true" by captaining Cork to the 2005 All-Ireland victory. Sean’s journey is a compelling testament to dedication, adaption and community integration.

As proud Corkonians ourselves, Seán Óg's immense county pride is infectious! He perfectly articulates that 'insatiable belief' of Corkonians: 'we're going to win it every year.' This year, that dream feels closer than ever.
