🌊⚓ Cork Harbour Festival 2026 is Here! ⚓🌊
Get ready for 10 days of maritime culture, heritage, adventure, and family fun as the Cork Harbour Festival returns from 30th May to 8th June 2026 across Cork City and the surrounding harbour towns.
With over 100 events planned, there’s something for everyone — from kayaking, sailing, guided walks, exhibitions, music, art, poetry, workshops, seafood experiences, maritime history tours, and family-friendly activities. Many events are free, giving people the chance to explore Cork Harbour in a whole new way.
One of the festival highlights is Ocean to City – An Rás Mór, Ireland’s largest rowing and paddling race, taking place on Saturday, 30th May. The spectacular event attracts hundreds of participants and features everything from traditional currachs and skiffs to kayaks, dragon boats, and stand-up paddle boards. Spectators can enjoy the action from locations including Crosshaven, Cobh, Monkstown, Passage West, Blackrock, and Cork City.
The festival celebrates Cork Harbour’s rich maritime heritage as one of the world’s largest natural harbours, bringing communities together through culture, history, and unforgettable experiences on both land and water.
