Irish boxing star Tommy Hyde continued his unbeaten rise with another impressive knockout victory in Santa Monica, California.

The heavy-hitting Cork sensation was clinical from the opening bell, eventually stopping the tough Vaughn Williams in the fourth round to extend his perfect professional record to 16-0 (11 KOs). ๐Ÿ’ฅ

Manchester United legend Roy Keane took time away from his World Cup media duties to show his support for fellow Cork star Denise O'Sullivan as she made her return to the NWSL, making her debut for Gotham FC

O'Sullivan left Liverpool FC following her club-record transfer in 2026 and now returns to a league she knows exceptionally well, having enjoyed tremendous success throughout her career. Gotham FC are widely regarded as one of the favourites to challenge for the NWSL title this season.

Based in New York, Gotham FC boast an impressive squad featuring several world-class players, including Australian international and former Chelsea star Sam Kerr. Denise's arrival is another major boost as the club looks to compete for silverware in the months ahead.
