I recently started a new role as a Community Fundraising Officer for Focus Ireland in Cork! Loving the new job as it involves raising money and organising events for this fantastic charity that helps those experiencing long-term homelessness.

The likes of Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Alan Shearer and more are calling for the Nottingham Forest owner to resign after this was posted on the clubs official X account!

While I think that is a bit much myself, I’m glad nobody’s calling for the poor administrator of the social media accounts of the club to be let go 😂

This post, as emotional and rash as it was, probably came from the owner and was the task of a social media executive to post on their socials 📱

It’s tricky work being a content creator/digital marketer for a private company. Your ideas are second to the bosses ideas and sometimes you have to put your own creativity and instinct to the back of your mind!

So, spare a thought for the poor soul who had to press ‘Share’ on this Tweet and pray that they didn’t get the sack for an order from the top 😂

Does anyone remember their mental health walks from lockdown?? 🚶‍♂️

I took a walk around Cork City this morning before work and it cleared my head to no end 😁

Cork was quiet, peaceful and I even treated myself to a coffee and pastry from on Parnell Place ☕️ 🧁

Life’s not all about work, we have to enjoy it a little from time to time 😁

Yes, it is a brilliant piece of equipment, but the mic set on the right that I bought from Amazon years ago does the same job 💪

That, along with Audacity (a free editing software) and a free Podbean membership means you can easily record, edit and produce short podcasts without breaking the bank 💰

Last night was a night full of learning at work 📚

First up was my talk on “Introduction to Digital Marketing: Utilising the Tools at your Disposal”, for the Cork Lifelong 🙌

Next up, my Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing and Strategy students welcomed Christian Donovan from for our first guest lecturer of the module 😁

Christian talked about all things Google Ads, analytics and measurement metrics. It was a brilliant talk and extremely valuable for the students and myself of course 📱📈
