Speaking to UCC98.3FM, Green Party Ireland Senator Grace O'Sullivan discussed her past, present, policies and pitch ahead of the European Parliamentary elections on May 24th. In a broad-ranging and engaging discussion she told of her aspirations for a more equal, Green and clean Europe as well as the lack of representation in the Ireland South constituency over the past five years. She faces a large field of candidates with SĂŠan Kelly, Billy Kelleher, LĂadh na RĂada and Deirdre Clune all expected to be (re)elected, according to the most recent Irish Times poll. There will be a dogfight for Ireland South's fifth seat and she will be a favourite to claim it.

It's been a pleasure to broadcast to you this year! We spoke to the Lord Mayor of Cork, the President of UCC, rappers, musicians, local politicians and intellects all the while discussing the most pertinent topics on the agenda. We were very proud to be nominated as Radio Journalists of the Year and Radio Producers of the Year at the 2019 SMEDIAS. We'll be back with an even slicker show next year and we'll be working throughout the Summer to ensure we bring you national standard broadcasting come September 2019.

Much love,

Matthew, Maeve and Stephen. 😍

With Brexit just 11 days away, and Britain tinkering on the edge of a catastrophic no-deal, we had the great pleasure of spending the St. Patrick's Day bank holiday weekend in Belgium. Popularly referred to as the Capital of Europe, we felt it incumbent upon me to get a sense of international perspectives. We spoke to professed Europhile Jean Olivier in Bruges, a Flemish Belgian tourist and Matty Maxwell, a British leave-voter from Salford in Bruxelles-Central station about their perspectives on all things Brexit: regrets, the future of Europe, the backstop and multiculturalism.

The people of Ireland stand with the people of New Zealand at this dark time. More than ever, we need to normalize and re-affirm liberal democratic values, stand together and fight against the rise of Fascism. Those who worship should never fear attack. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims.
