FAMILY OF 8 FLEE BLAZE AT BALLINCOLLIG HOME

Neil is speaking with Abbey whose family continue to deal with the devastation from a fire that destroyed her childhood home. The family are now spread out across different locations in Ballincollig since the blaze broke out on the 8th of August.

Abbey’s parents are living in a single bedroom in emergency accommodation with shared access to a kitchen. They are not allowed visitors to the property, not even the grand kids.

Insurance on the property lapsed as Abby’s parents were dealing with so many bills coming in the door, something had to give.
