💥 📽️ What an unbelievable experience to be filming in Venice during the Carnivale. 👁️ It is the most captivating, surreal and exquisite festival, embracing people from all over our beautiful planet 🌎 to take part in the spectacle 🎭 . These are just some of the photos I shot while there and I will of course share more. 📸

🥂 What a fabulous night for theatre in Cork on Wednesday at the opening night of 'Making History" by Brian Friel, directed by the new Artistic Director Kennedy 👏 . The place was packed and the atmosphere was electric. Theatre really is coming home! These are exciting times for The Everyman, Cork with Des at the helm and I would urge you all to take a seat 💫 . "A strikingly ambitious production" Irish Examiner Not forgetting the superb staging McKeever, Mckenna and Mercier. Up with the Lark 🌞 🎶 on Wednesday last week to present my PIP- ’Pitch In Person’ at the Network Cork morning event at the Metropole Hotel Cork.

Thank you to Cathy Fitzgibbon aka The Culinary Celt and Dan Boyle for their contributions to the morning - which was themed 🌿 ‘Legacy of Love’ 🦋 and an important moment to reflect on what we do, and the impact that we have on our environment and the legacy would like to leave behind! 🐝

How wonderful to listen to Foran - Forager Skincare, herbalist and regular on Ireland AM - whose insights and hugely upbeat presentation, got us all thinking positively about embracing the natural treasures so abundant around us.

Great to catch up with Dr Niall O'Keeffe Local Enterprise Office, Cork City and Mary Corcoran, Echo
who were present, supporting the event.

The book cover already reads like a film - so watch out for this one and reserve your seat! A lively dicsussion is guaranteed! 🎉

Cork Co Council writer in Residence and producer of INTO THE MYTHIC Spotify Leeanne O'Donnell will give readings from her debut historical novel SPARKS OF BRIGHT MATTER. On Brigid’s day, (1 Feb at 3.30) she will focus on the character of Bridey - a mysterious west Cork woman with a reputation for other- worldly dealings. Bridey is a reimagining of the sacred feminine existing with resilience and resourcefulness in an unforgiving time.
In discussion with MC Filmmaker and actor Karla Goodman Made to Measure Films Ireland Ltd, this will be another lively debate. Karla has a multitude of experiences telling women's stories. Following on from last year's Brigid debate with Justine McCarthy, and the wonderful A to Sea podcast with Siobhán Cronin at the Banshee festival, what can we say, West Cork is bursting all over with talent!
The book will be available to sign or purchase. TICKETS ARE FREE but booking on Powertik is advised.
