It’s almost a year to the day (a few days off – but close enough!) since we had the pleasure of launching our 4th issue in the wonderful Unit 44 , complete with readings from some incredibly talented folk and drinks and chats afterwards in ❤️ The issue was our most successful yet and we still have people enquiring with our stockists about getting a copy (alas it is out of print!) – we would like to do a limited reprint of all four issues soon as the demand appears to be there (and thanks to our stockists for keeping us up to date on this) 🙏
ACD has taken a small break to regroup and focus on other commitments but will be back with a very exciting collaborative event towards the end of the year (keep your eyes peeled!) and the promise of new activity as we come into 2025.
If you’d like to read any of our previous issues they are available to read in both and X

2023 was a great year for ACD! It saw the creation and launch of Issue 4 – a wonderful issue full of writing and art by an incredible group of people and the culmination of months of work by the team. We were lucky enough to be able to launch this in Unit 44 () in Stoneybatter and to be able to hear some readings from some of the amazing writers featured in the issue 😍 Issue 4 is very nearly sold out, with a handful of issues (we think) in , and (and a single one in !). Here’s to 2024 – we have some ideas brewing and it won’t be long until we emerge from hibernation 👀
Happy New Year from Team ACD to all our contributors, readers, followers, and stockists 🐴💜

Emma Harris is an artist and writer from Galway. She has a shiny new painting degree from NCAD and is currently trying to cram all of her books and paint brushes into one suitcase before she flies to Estonia, where she’ll spend a year at a print and book arts centre making strange and unusual manuscripts.
