105 miles. 8 days. One unforgettable adventure. 🥾🇮🇪
The final day of the Di**le Way - and somehow, the hardest part was knowing it was almost over. 🥹
From the mountains to the coastline, the tiny villages to the endless green… this trail gave us so many moments we’ll never forget.
Thank you, Di**le Way, and thank you Macs Adventure for the BEST SUMMER EVER! It was one heck of an adventure. ❤️
And just like that… 105 miles DONE. 🎉

WE DID IT!!! 😭
The final day of the Di**le Way! We hiked 14 miles (22.5 km) from Fahamore to Camp, bringing our 8-day, 105-mile adventure around the Di**le Peninsula to an end.
And what a way to finish - incredible coastal views, one last stretch of trail and that feeling of knowing we’d officially walked our way around the Di**le Peninsula.
We partnered with for this adventure, making it easy to experience the Di**le Way as a self-guided hiking trip - with the freedom to explore at our own pace and enjoy the journey along the way!

After hiking Mount Brandon yesterday, we were VERY happy to see a flat stretch of trail. 😂
Day 7 took us 11 miles (17.7 km) from Cloghane to Fahamore, with cool weather, miles of coastline and one very quick Irish rainstorm.
This trip reminded us why we love exploring on foot. You slow down, notice the little things, meet people along the way and experience a place in a completely different way. That’s what self-guided hiking with is all about!
And after nearly 100 miles, we could finally feel it…ONE DAY LEFT!

WOOAHHHH! We’re halfway there! 🥾☀️
Day 5 took us to the edge of Ireland! We hiked 12 miles (19.3 km) from Dunquin to Ballydavid, passing Dunmore Head, taking in incredible views of the Blasket Islands and walking some of the most dramatic coastline on the entire Di**le Way.
If you’re a Star Wars fan, this stretch of the Di**le Peninsula is especially cool - nearby cliffs were used as filming locations for Star Wars!
We partnered with for this adventure, and they made it easy for us to experience the Di**le Way our own way - at our own pace, one step at a time!

This wasn’t the Ireland we packed for… but it made for one unforgettable day. 💚
Day 4 took us 14 miles (22.5 km) from Di**le to Dunquin. The hike had a little bit of everything - mountain views, sandy beaches and the breathtaking scenery of Slea Head Drive.
It’s easily one of the most beautiful days on the trail, and the clear skies made the views even more incredible.
We’re partnered with , who planned our itinerary, booked our B&Bs and transferred our luggage so we could focus on enjoying the trail!
