Stop-motion Animation Studio Paper Panther is an award-winning animation studio specialising in stop-motion.

We are known for our unique visuals, use of materials, original storytelling and love of classical techniques. We work with a broad range of clients in film, advertising, television and online content. Whatever the project, we try to approach it from a unique angle.

So excited to share that we've signed with Assembly for commercial work in Ireland! We had a great time creating the claymation scene for last years Tesco ad together, can't wait to continue our work with the fabulous Rebecca Bourke! 🙌 To celebrate, we'll be sharing our favourite ads from over the years along with extra making of footage. Stay tuned! 🎉

We had a great time at Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) last week! The Bird and the Whale screened alongside an amazing program of Irish Shorts for the Focus on Ireland Selection and we had a great time pitching our slate of projects at Animation Production Days. What an incredible event! Thank you so much to Culture Ireland and , Embassy of Ireland, Berlin and Animation Ireland, especially Delphine Coudray, Róisín Chapman and Candice Gordon for organising everything, it was amazingly well run and organised. See you all next year?!

We're delighted The Bird & the Whale was selected for MONSTRA - Lisbon Animated Film Festival's focus on Irish Animation, alongside a beautiful selection of Irish classics and a special focus on Tomm Moore! Carol was delighted to be a judge for the Best Short film category in the 2024 British Animation Awards! A huge congrats to all the nominees. We look forward to seeing the winner crowned in London next month. Good luck everyone!!

We’re delighted The Bird & the Whale was selected for the Festival du court métrage de Clermont-Ferrand 2024 Panorama “EuroVisions – European Women with a movie camera”. A selection of 22 European films, made between 2013 and 2022, representing 25 European countries, 6 of which are animated. ‘Each film offers a unique perspective, illuminating aspects of life, society, and humanity through the prism of female talent.’ Screening all this week along with many amazing films, check it out if you can!
