~ A bit about Dan ~
Dan Newman is a Welsh underground DJ/producer who is now based in Bristol. He is predominantly known for his eclectic sets, switching from multiple genres such as garage, house, techno, break-beat, disco, electro, jungle and ghetto house. A recurring theme within his track selection remains constant, which is high, fast-paced energy.

Dan has had his productions played on the likes of Radio 1, Rinse FM & Circoloco Radio, and was picked as 'One To Watch for 2021' by Jaguar on her BBC Radio 1 Introducing Show. Monthly residency radio shows on .

IN THE HOTSEAT | VLAD

VLAD originally cut his teeth in the Croatian techno scene before making his mark here in Dublin. In a relatively short amount of time, VLAD has gone from digging in the crates on his first day in Dublin to now being a cornerstone of the techno scene in Dublin.

VLAD has held down residencies in clubs such as Berlin D2 & Pygmalion. You may have also seen VLAD in the dark rooms of District 8 and Index supporting some of the heaviest hitters in the industry such as Craig Richards, Ame, Radioslave & Ryan Elliot or on the festival circuit up & down the country.

As well as killing his own sets on a regular basis, VLAD has given back to the upcoming DJ's with his OPEN DECK series, in Berlin D2's basement.

This mix takes many twists and turns on a mind-warping hypnotic hour of techno music, slap on your best headphones and strap in for +8% two-step action.

Our good pal Jimbo Jones has just released a fantastic music video for his track "Almost Post Co**al". The track was released on his debut album "The Heat Death of My Hometown".

We start the week off with a ferocious mix from Duvz.

Dj & Producer from Dublin with a taste for the darker side of things combining elements of EBM and Techno in both his dj sets and productions, taking influence from the likes of Slam, Inhalt Der Nacht, Cleric, Surgeon and more.

Duvz has put a lot of time into crafting out his own unique sound, having completed courses with Doug Cooney in Real Sound Ireland, The Sound Training College & Will Kinsella's Elevator Program, and winning the Soma Records x Splice Producer Challenge in 2019, with his original track "Enough".

Having already played support to acts such as Hybrasil, Moduse, Dj Deece, Bowsie and Felix da Housecat in venues such as Earth Nightclub Drogheda, The Sound House, The Wright Venue and Flame Festival, as well as having his own radio shows on Phever.ie and HouseTech Radio, Duvz began running his own events under his Platform Dublin brand in late 2019, hosting people such as SLV (DE), Endlec & Ôneyra to date with plenty more still in the pipeline for after lockdown.
