So this weekend’s short run with TesseracT culminated at Euroblast Festival , and what a perfect way to finish the “War Of Being World Tour” that started nearly 2 years ago…!

Grateful to be working with such sweet humans and one of the tightest bands on this planet…

Loads of love for the whole crew who’s been busting their asses to bring this show to new heights, while maintaining a level of kindness and companionship only the greatest can. 🫶

I had the honor and pleasure of being asked to mix this gorgeous rendition of A-ha‘s 80s classic “Take On Me” by Leprous for Musora‘s series “Covers On The Spot”.

Super cool concept : the band has no idea what song they’re gonna have to cover when they get to the studio, but once they’re told, they have something like 4 hours before they have to record it all together, live, in the same room.

Needless to say that Leprous did it with the ease, class, and the good taste that defines the band… and that I had a ton of fun working on it with my brother Pierrick Noel (Atelier Mastering) mastering it!

AUDIX microphones on everything was just the icing on an already pretty killer cake!

Devin Townsend Powernerd North America 2025 tour is over!
Infinite love and gratitude for the beautiful humans in that band and crew, it’s been an honor and a pleasure.
I had a blast also mixing TesseracT who’s now doing a few extra headline shows. Let’s go!

Took me a few days trying to process what happened last week (unsuccessfully, I’m afraid, it’ll take a while!), but here goes…
Devin Townsend’s “The Moth” shows have probably been the biggest challenge of my career so far (first time mixing a band + orchestra + choir), but they’re also some the most rewarding shows I’ve ever had the honor to mix / work on, as much in terms of outcome (2 absolutely mind-blowing shows and a sick-looking live-stream!) as in regards to the process itself that involved working alongside a team of super-humans (no existing word would be strong enough to describe how much of a perfect combination of positiveness, hard work, and dedication everyone involved put into this).

Infinite gratitude to Devin for trusting me to do my thing on such a gorgeous and immense piece of music, and in such a creatively stimulating environment. It’s been a privilege and I can’t wait to work some more on the studio Moth! ❤

What a way to start the year!
It’s been a treat as usual to mix TesseracT every night of this EU/UK tour, a pleasure to have Novelists and The Omnific with us, and an inspiration to share the PA with Arie Aranovich and Tom Gadonna who absolutely killed it every night behind the desk and brought their best vibes for 5 weeks.
Loads of love for the TesseracT-crew ( .curiello ) with special kudos to my FOH-bae , it’s always a pleasure!

Big thanks to AUDIX for providing the best microphones I could ask for (the new D6X is dope!!) and to Neural DSP for the sick guitar and bass tones!

J’ai l’honneur de participer, avec et dans son magnifique .h.studio , à ce master-class basé sur l’enregistrement de la batterie.

Au programme : une session d’enregistrement complète pendant laquelle on prendra le temps de détailler toutes les étapes (accordage, choix et placements de micros, editing, mixage) et de donner nos tricks pour obtenir le meilleur son de batterie possible.

Nous avons le privilège d’avoir derrière les fûts l’un des meilleurs batteurs avec qui j’ai eu l’occasion de travailler, l’immense .berthet .

Il n’y a déjà plus que 2 ou 3 places, alors réservez vite avant que ce ne soit complet! :)

Yesterday was my last show on this summer festival run with Leprous, and after all the years we spent touring together, it was a lot of fun to do a few more shows with the boys and to get to work with their fantastic crew!
Handing them back to Camille Bechet ( ) now, who I also wanna thank for trusting me with these shows! 🫶

Also as usual, much love to AUDIX and Christopher DeNogean , best microphones + killer band = happy soundguy.
