1. GPC Ireland ( https://gpcireland.com ) 🇮🇪

- This agency is a Dublin-based agency. Meaning their office is here in Dublin. They helped me land a job here in Ireland while I was still in Dubai. Check out their website for various engineering job vacancies.

2. Job Vortex (https://www.facebook.com/jobvortex/) 🇦🇪
- This agency is based in Dubai. As far as I know, they only accept applications who are already in UAE or in the Middle East. Aside from engineering jobs, they also post job vacancies for skilled workers.

3. Sparktel ( https://www.facebook.com/sparktelireland/)🇵🇭🇮🇪🌎

- This agency hire locally and internationally. Locally, meaning they actively hire here in Ireland. Internationally, meaning they hire outside Ireland and I’ve seen them hire Filipino Engineers and Linesmen.

4. Caves Treasure Manpower (https://cavesmanpower.com/main/) 🇮🇪

- This agency is based in Makati Philippines. As far as I know, they hire Engineers and skilled workers bound for Ireland and other countries.

Dubai to Ireland as Civil Engineer, saan nga ba ako nag-apply?

Let’s talk about my recruitment agency.

Before Ireland, I used to work in Dubai for over a 10 Years. And before Dubai naman, I worked in Manila for over 3 years. Okay noong nasa Dubai ako, my wife first moved here sa Ireland. So kahit di ako nakapaghanap ng work, ang option namin is like a dependent visa and actually inaayos namin yun while at the same time, I’m actively looking for a job here in Ireland. Fortunately, I came across this agency called GPC Ireland. Actually dito sa Ireland guys, uso ang agencies. Kahit andito kana, agencies will contact you kasi nga amg mga companies dito, ginagamit talaga ang mga recruitment agencies. Going back to GPC Ireland, I just applied to their various job postings and one day, they just contacted me. I remember it was Jake calling me and we were discussing my work experience. I actually had two interviews, all of them online kasi nga I was in Dubai that time. The first one did not work, the second interview, natsambahan naman kasi yung work, pareho talaga sa work ko sa Dubai. So ayun, to make the story short, I got the interview in January 2024, I received the offer a week later. Then I applied for the work permit, then mga one month later, may approved work permit na and then I applied for the visa. I got the visa in March, and last day of work ko sa in April 3 or 4. Tapos the following day lumpiad na ako pa Ireland. Ngayon iba na ang timeline, mejo you have to wait, at alam naman yan ng mga agencies.

So that’s the story of how I was able to find a job here in Ireland.
