โข Location of Center (1:00 PM):
The eye of Super Typhoon Uwan was located 135 km north-northwest of Virac, Catanduanes, or 100 km northeast of Daet, Camarines Norte (14.7ยฐN, 123.7ยฐE), based on all available data including Baler and Daet Doppler Radar.
โข Intensity:
Maximum sustained winds of 185 km/h near the center, gusts reaching 230 km/h, and a central pressure of 935 hPa.
โข Present Movement:
Moving west-northwestward at 30 km/h.
โข Extent of Winds:
Strong to typhoon-force winds extend outward up to 900 km from the center.
