All you need to know about fibroids.
Child: Aunty, what’s fibroid?
Aunty: Hmm… fibroid is like a lump that grows inside a woman’s tummy, where babies are supposed to grow.
Child: Like a baby?
Aunty: No oh, not a baby. More like a w**d that grows in a beautiful garden. It’s not supposed to be there, but it finds a way to grow.
Child: Why does it grow?
Aunty: Because the body gets too much of something called estrogen. It’s a hormone—like food for the body. But when there’s too much, it starts feeding the wrong things—like fibroids.
Child: Where does the too much estrogen come from?
Aunty: From many things o!
When someone eats too much sugar, drinks juice every day, eats puff-puff, white bread, fried food…
Or uses too much perfume, hair relaxer, bad body creams, and plastic bottles—that fake estrogen enters the body.
And when a woman doesn’t sleep well, or doesn’t go to toilet every day—it makes things worse.
Child: So fibroid grows because the body is too full of bad stuff?
Aunty: Exactly. The body is like a garden. If you don’t clean it, w**ds will grow.
Child: Does egg cause fibroid?
Aunty: No, my dear. Eggs are very good for the body. They have protein and vitamins that help you grow strong. Eggs don’t cause fibroids.
Child: What about red meat?
Aunty: If it’s real meat—like goat meat or beef that is cooked well—it’s okay.
But when people fry it with bad oil, or eat too much suya and don’t eat vegetables, then the body starts to suffer.
Child: So the problem is not the food, it’s how we treat our body?
Aunty: You’re so smart! Yes. It’s not just about one food. It’s about balance.
Eat good food, drink water, sleep, p**p every day, and let your body rest. That’s how to keep the garden clean.
Child: Aunty… can fibroid shrink and go away?
Aunty: Yes o. It can.
If you stop feeding it junk, it stops growing.
If you clean the body, give it vegetables, real oils like coconut and palm oil, herbs, rest, and sometimes do gentle fasting—fibroids can shrink.
Child: So the body can heal itself?
Aunty: Always.
Your body wants to be well.
You just have to stop attacking it every day.
Fibroids are not the boss—you are.
You decide what grows in your garden.
Child: I want to grow flowers in my body, not w**ds.
Aunty: And you will.
Just eat what God made. Rest like you matter.
And your body will bloom.
